Wallace Design is freelance graphic designer and artist Adam Wallace. I am experienced in all areas of the graphic design process, from accepting a brief, developing the concept in consultation with clients, and submitting proofs at each stage of project development for revisions and tweaks. My designs are original, highly creative and eye-catching.
I am experienced in producing all kinds of graphics, from the very largest scale for shopfront banners and advertising posters, to the smallest, business cards and personalised stationary. Nothing is too large, and nothing too small. Multi-page brochures, newsletters or magazines are also possible, including the written content, ( I have A-level English, and can write clear, legible text, having had several aticles published online at the Cutting Edge News, and previously in Black Poppy Magazine), as well as producing illustrated posters and cards for local health authority campaigns
Assembling textual content for a book, usually from Word documents, into a high quality print-ready .pdf, including illustrations, index and front and back covers, and complete with all necessary printers marks is an area I am experienced in, having produced the .pdf files for Edwin Black's 25th anniversary edition of The Transfer agreement, as well as Nazi Nexus, Banking on Baghdad and The Farhud.
For all printed graphics I can either submit work to any printer of your choice, or find a print shop able to produce your work in consultation with you. I have a good understanding of colour theory, and can ensure that all coloured material uses standard Pantone Colours. to ensure there is no discrepancy between screen and ink colour.
As well as designing graphics for print, I am also experienced in web design. From simple dynamic emails to show off your company in its best light, to multi-page websites, I am experienced in their design and development. I use HTML5 for many of the sites I design, in order to be able to take advantage of its new features and flexibility, but if your target audience is likely to be using older browsers incapable of rendering some of its advanced effects, the code can be tailored to take this into consideration to ensure maximum compatibility.
The heart of some of the most effective sites on the web is the use of dynamic content, such as Flash and Javascript. I am a competent Flash animator and intermediate level ActionScript 3.0 developer, with experience building Google Ads, as well as fully interactive Flash merchant applications, such as online carts.
Whatever your requirements, please contact me for a free consultation. I am certain you will be extremely pleased with the highly creative and original content I can produce for you, and by maintaining dialogue and submitting content for revision at every step, is guaranteed to be exactly as you want it to be. I look forward to working with you.
