I-made-these.com, is the concept of myself and Simon Payne (my son).

I know Simon to be far too talented to work in a print office, pushing out standard run of the mill designs for stationery, etc., so I hatched a cunning plan to bring together several shared talents to form I-made-these.com. I have wanted to work with him for many years, Simon is a highly skilled graphic designer, and whilst setting up the business I found that his talent for model making and diorama was such that this skill must form part of the business. In a large retail store in The Water Tower, part of the famous RAF base at Hemswell (617 Dambusters etc) near Lincoln, we have set up shop. The store shows off Simons work in diorama, there are models and allsorts for sale.

We also have onsite the printing equipment to produce all the design work, business cards, flyers, leaflets, brochures and the like. Whatever else, the store is worth a visit to see our latest Lancaster videos, pictures, and relive the drama of this historic airfield. Since there is also a website design arm to the business (Backshed designs) we can showcase everything we offer, and promote your business too! I Made These is part of Toots & Co (UK) Ltd, alongside Tootsco, the online jewellery business, and Bois d'amour offering great hand made furniture from the Ancient Mariner range.

We are pleased to be associated with the militaria man, and the Water Tower.

My planned retirement moves even further away, but I am really happy!
