If I could leave zero stars, I would. We ordered two appliances from CDA. One was broken on arrival and we were sent a replacement part quite quickly, so on that front I cannot complain as the after sales service was good and fast. However, the other item is a gas hob. We bought the unit and had to pay a gas engineer to install it. The hob has since proved faulty, with one of the burners not lighting (this has since evolved to be two of the burners).

I contacted CDA to arrange for an engineer. The engineer arrived and adjusted the buttons so the hob worked again for a time. Since then it simply won't light at all. I again contacted CDA. I was told that the hob would need to be replaced. Then I was told this was incorrect and that it would need to be repaired as before. Then, again that it could only be replaced.

To be fair, the customer service team were always polite and helpful on the phone, it was just that the messages I received were mixed. This back and fourth carried on for a while. I have since contacted the supplier to arrange for delivery and have been told that CDA have in fact cancelled the order with them. I appreciate the issue was ongoing for some time, but I did not receive any communication from CDA that they were cancelling the order.

I also raised with CDA the issue of how I was expected to hand over the old hob for the replacement. This would mean either having a gas engineer camping in my house for the long delivery window so they could uninstall and then re-install the hob, or paying them to come out twice. CDA refused to have anything to do with the removal or installation, quoting their Ts&Cs.

This is a faulty product they have provided. It is unacceptable to expect the customer to bear significant extra cost due to their shortcomings. I was eventually offered 50 towards the installation cost. Anyone who has had to call out an engineer will appreciate this is insufficient. Overall I have had a terrible experience with this company and would positively encourage customers to look elsewhere.

It is a shame as the products they sell look great and cover a good range. This could have been an entirely different review had the customer service team been singing from the same hymn sheet, and had the impropriety of expecting customers to foot the bill for faulty products not been so prevalent. I have tried to be fair in this review. I welcome a response from CDA.

Never ever deal with CDA. They are a useless company. 2000 wine cooler lasted 4 years. They sent third party company out to see if they could fix it for 120. Chap said the compressor had gone without even looking at it. He fiddled around for 30 minutes then said he couldn't do anymore. I called CDA again and waited 40 minutes to get through and they said they would offer a discount on a new wine cooler but their price was more than I could have bought the same wine cooler from an other company. Be warned they are useless.

Where do I begin Where do I begin! It is easier to get an appointment with a GP than speak to cda customer service. I have a cda fridge freezer that is 2 months old. Purchased from wren kitchens. The fridge has a temperature variation from -9 to +10 and a freezer that varies from -33 to -1. I have had 2 engineer visits and they have replaced a part.

Still no Improvement. This morning I opened the fridge and it was -9 everything was frozen. My children almost had to go to school with no lunch as every item in the fridge had to be binned. I was advised that a review team was looking to replace it. I have just spent another 1 hour on hold waiting to speak to someone, to be told that they have found a part and now want to come and fix it.

So I now have to wait until and engineer is available to come and change another part. I feel that I am being fobbed off with excuses. So now I have to sit and wait with a fridge freezer that is not fit for purpose. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASED ANOTHER CDA PRODUCT. I WPULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND ANYONE READING THIS TO CHOSE ANOTHER BRAND. So just un update.

Engineer came on the 25/11 and said my appliance is now beyond economical repair. As it is not holding refrigeration gas. So all the food in the fridge freezer has to be thrown away again. So since 11am on the 25/11 I have not had any fridge freezer. I am waiting to find out when I will receive a replacement. It is now the 30/11 and still no one has been in contact from cda to advise me.

On the Cda website they say " we prioritise repair to certain appliances". FOOD REFRIGERATION is first on the list. All information on this is now been passed to trading standards. I will update hopefully before the end of the year. Its been 42days since I first contacted cda about my faulty appliance. So let's hope I have somewhere to store my food for Christmas. A truly awful company! I bought a new build property from a private builder who had fitted these appliances in the kitchen. I have had problems with all of them over the past two and a half years but the most recent being the bearings going in my washing machine. As it is now 2 1/2 years old I am out of the labour warranty but they will supply the parts.

I paid 119 for an engineer to visit my property, turn the drum, say nope can't repair the bearings in these you will need a new washing machine (the engineer was in my property for 4 minutes as I have the timings on my ring doorbell!). Not only did I pay 119 for a 4 minute visit, which is astronomical, but a 2 1/2 year old washing machine that cannot have the bearings replaced is ludicrous!

With everyone being economically minded this is absolutely disgraceful to throw away such a new machine for such a simple problem! Well my problems have only just started now. I am offered a new washing machine at a discounted price of 218! Why should I be buying a washing machine every 2 1/2 years?! You are mselling products that are clearly not fit for purpose.

You have absolutely terrible customer service, no responses to emails, contact forms completed online, formal complaints written and still after being told I am issuing court proceedings they have not responded! Thankfully I work in the finance department at a law firm who have kindly offered to issue the proceedings and deal with the claim on my behalf but I am sure there are lots of you that are not able to do this and simply have to buy a new machine! The directors of the company are listed on companies house, perhaps if you are still having problems I suggest you contact them personally!

Rubbish customer service and a truly terrible company. Chased CDA for over a month due to having the misfortune to buy a faulty and leaking gas hob from them. They were happy for our our young family to make do without what is an essential kitchen item for over a month. In the end gave up when told it would take a further 2 months to replace! Takes forever to get through to customer service and still they do nothing.

I am now left having to buy a new hob (from anywhere but these cowboys) and paying for the install. I regard having nothing more to do with them, their pathetic customer service and faulty products as a relief. My advice is to STEER CLEAR. They are truly an awful company to deal with. Uncaring and uncommunicative staff. Would give zero or negative stars if an option.

I would give this a 0 if I could, the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I spoke to a woman on the phone who had a terrible attitude and hung up on me, I felt like it wouldn't even matter leaving a bad review seeing the amount they have on here but I need to add to it just from how annoyed this company has made me, they have came out once already to "fix" the washing machine once and didn't do it correctly at all and changed the drum seal when the washing machine was smoking the house out.

I really could not rate this company any less, I now have to ring up and wait an hour and a half to speak to someone on their terrible customer service line after one of them hung up on me. I could understand if I was having a go at them but I was just saying that I wouldn't be in because they came at the wrong time. I have now been told it will take another 4 weeks for someone to attend because I was not at the property when someone came round because I never knew they were coming and had already told them that I could not afford to take more time off work.

If they had resolved this issue on the first attendance then it would be sorted now but instead, they are making me feel like a nuisance and treating me awfully. If you ever think of buying from here DONT.

Dangerous products and unbelievably bad customer service. We've had the FWC304BL wine cooler for 9 months. Stepped into the kitchen to see shattered glass everywhere. No response for days, just had to chase up and have been told glass isn't covered by warranty even though it's a faulty product. The call handler was rude, unapologetic and completely unhelpful. I expected the company to apologise for supplying such a dangerous product and I'm still in shock at their response. Avoid at all costs!

This is an update on my previous review When our CDA engineer came to your property we are indeed very sorry that he caused damage to your unit door which required replacement. Various attempts have been made to try and secure a resolution to this and at this stage the matter is still unresolved. I know that the team have tried to secure correct measurements from you and have not been successful.

I understand that arrangements have been made for you to secure a local joiner to attend to the repair and hopefully this will soon resolve this problem. It is very important to point out that initially the type of door is in fact a furniture door NOT a decor door and there is a difference in sizing. Please can I suggest that you ensure the joiner appointed is aware of this difference in the types of doors when he places the order.

I would ask please for you to send me a quote for supplying and installing the replacement door. What he doesn't tell you here is that CDA sent a staff members partner who is a kitchen / bedroom fitter to measure and still the replacement doors were incorrectly sized as well as the wrong colour and style. My dishwasher is again leaking so I can't use it and even though it's still under warranty I have no desire to have their engineers back in my house.

If I had been aware of how bad this company was I would have just replaced my dishwasher in March 2020 when it first malfunctioned. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I hope that this helps people going forward to make a more informed choice.

Appalling Products, Aftersales, and Customer Service - Avoid CDA. Please. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. My experience of CDA has been appalling. It has taken CDA 9 months, and 3 engineer visits to come to the conclusion that my appliance is beyond economic repair. It failed in August 2020, but because it was out of the 2 year parts and labour warranty, but still in the 5 year parts warranty period.

I was charged 120 upfront for the repair. Hiding behind the COVID restrictions, it look until October 2020 for CDA to get someone out to look at it. They sent a sub contractor, who looked at the label on the back, turned the power on and off and said they would be in touch. After chasing them for a further 3 months about this, they eventually decided to send someone else to look at it.

Two engineers looked at it this time, ordered parts, when they came back to fit them (a month later) they then decided that it was in fact beyond economic repair, and they would not fit the parts, and would be in touch, which took further weeks of chasing to get a response. So for me that was 9 months of hassle, must be 10-15 hours of phone calls, (every call I had was at least a 20 minute wait time) plus I had to take 3 half days from work.

For nothing. CDA's answer to this is to finally in May 2021 to offer me 100 off of a new appliance that won't be available until the end of June 2021. Now for the customer service experience, I had numerous promises about dates, callbacks, that just didn't happen, they are infuriating. The whole customer resolutions team are truly useless. So to sum up, please consider this when picking CDA, pick any other manufacturer but CDA.

They are not worth the effort. To underline the point: This is the response received at from CDA on Trust Pilot at 15:39 11/05/21 - this review was posted at about 20:44 10/05/21. Clearly they are not really that concerned about my customer journey. This is the standard response you will get from CDA. Thank you once again CDA. I am sorry that you have had a long and difficult customer journey with us. CDA, along with other manufacturers, decided to reduce the risk to its customers and engineers by limiting the number of calls made, particularly considering the new variant of CV.

The way we did this was to strike a balance between delivering a service and reducing the risk of transmission and infection. Deciding to continue to service cooking, laundry, food refrigeration and dishwashing products but postpone the repairs of other appliances such as wine coolers and extractors we believed was a responsible and ethical approach in national lockdown due to a pandemic.

This does, of course, mean that we continued to service the overwhelming majority of appliances where customers choose to accept an engineer into their homes. Our engineers followed a strict protocol which meets all government guidelines. In any instance, we are - just like many other businesses up and down the country facing backlogs and our dedicated team are working hard to attend to speedy and effective resolutions.

We feel that the discounted appliance offer is a fair one based on the age of the appliance and the offer is made within the terms and conditions of the warranty which if you would like to view it please go to CDA.Eu

Fine until something goes wrong and then their customer service is completely non existent. They can't even be bothered to respond to my complaint and I have 8 properties full of their appliances. To give you an idea of how unreliable their products are, in the last 4 years, I have had to replace, 1x dishwasher, 1x washer dryer, 1x oven, 1x extractor hood and had probably 5 or 6 repair call outs.

I had their taps in every kitchen and ALL of them have now been replaced as the bracket that holds the tap upright at the bottom had broken on all of them, over a period of 2 years. At the last call out, they didn't even fix the issue. Many of the fridge shelf trims have broken and they can't supply replacements as this model is discontinued. It will be a crime against nature to put all these fridges into landfill when they actually work, just because I can't get replacement shelves for them. Needless to say, I will not be buying from them again and I would not recommend them.
